DESCRIPTION:Auditing information security management systems ensures effective performance and identifies where improvements exist.  \nThis is a practical two-day course providing the knowledge and confidence needed to complete effective internal audits against an Information Security Management System (ISMS).  Successful students receive an Exemplar Global Certificate of Competence as an ISMS 1st and 2nd Party Auditor. \nLearning Outcomes \n\nManaging 1st party internal audits of an ISMS\nConducting internal audit opening and closing meetings\nEnhanced interviewing techniques\nHow to collect objective information\nRelating findings to ISO 27001:2022 conformance\nPreparing reports that help management improve Information Security systems and performance\nHow to conduct 2nd party audits on suppliers and customers\n\nCourse Foundation \nISO 19011:2018 – Guidelines for auditing management systems.
