Auditing information security management systems ensures effective performance and identifies where improvements exist.
This is a practical two-day course providing the knowledge and confidence needed to complete effective internal audits against an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Successful students receive an Exemplar Global Certificate of Competence as an ISMS 1st and 2nd Party Auditor.

Course Foundation
ISO 19011:2018 – Guidelines for auditing management systems. The principles apply equally to any management systems and case studies to illustrate this are used throughout the course.
Course prerequisite
A working knowledge of ISO 27001:2022 and/or Information Security Management Systems is helpful (but not essential) for students of this course.
